Top Mid-Day Workouts to Do on Your Lunch Break

Believe me, I get it. We’re all busy. Finding time to exercise each day can be a challenge. Since work, family commitments, and social life take up the majority of your time, fitting fitness into an already crammed schedule can feel downright impossible. Squeezing in a quick lunch break workout may be the perfect solution.

Exercising during the middle of the day is a great way to maximize your free time.  It gives you a mental break and has been shown to improve your productivity and energy for the rest of the day. In addition, a study from the University of Missouri at Columbia finds that staying glued to your office chair all day actually shuts off enzymes in your muscles responsible for fat burning.

Luckily, we’ve got your back with a handful of midday classes to get you up and moving. Our weekly class schedule serves up effective and efficient classes that make sneaking a daily sweat sesh into your lunch break a breeze.

So get out of your seat, grab your gym bag, and go!

LUNCH BREAK FITNESS CLASSES AT CASTLE HILL FITNESS

Sculpt with Amid

Mondays & Fridays 12:00-12:45pm 

A workout focused on weight training, abdominals, and those hard-to-reach areas. Expect weights, with some moderate cardio thrown in!

Pilates Equipment Classes with Heather, Brooke, and Gregory

Monday-Friday 12:00-12:55pm

Create strength, balance, and flexibility while exploring the Pilates repertoire on all our equipment. A total body workout that emphasizes the core throughout. Monday is an Intermediate-level class, while Tuesday-Friday is for all levels. 

Kickboxing with Robert 

Mondays 12:00-1 pm 

This class promotes total body endurance, strength, and agility. Achieve total body conditioning with plyometrics and weight work. Gain confidence with mixed martial arts punch/kick combos and groundwork.

Vinyasa Flow with Collette

Mondays 12:00-1 pm 

An evolving form of traditional Hatha yoga that focuses on linking breath and movement. Focus on strength and endurance, alongside the usual elements of flexibility, balance, and alignment.

Cardio Dance Fit with Derekè 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00-12:50pm 

Cardio Dance Fit is a fun, high-energy class that combines hip hop dance and fitness exercises. Set to a pump’n playlist, this class is designed to boost cardio, improve coordination, and build strength—all while feeling like a dance party.

Yoga Wall with Gillian and Karuna 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00-1pm 

Yoga Wall is a practice that uses the wall, straps, and harnesses as the primary props. These wall props bring support to poses so that precision and fine-tuning can be worked on, as well as a deeper level of understanding of familiar poses.

BURN with Amid

Wednesdays 12:00-12:45pm 

An intense way to burn calories while consistently improving strength and endurance, plyometrics continue to gain popularity with everyone who is looking for top results. Expect to jump!

Kickboxing with Robert 

Wednesdays 12:00-1 pm 

You may kick. You may box. You may lift. You may jump. You may run. What’s guaranteed is a fun, high-energy full-body workout that challenges you and leaves you feeling strong and accomplished.
