At Castle Hill Fitness, you’ll find professionals with a depth of knowledge and training that extends beyond one specialty. These practitioners draw from their multi-faceted training to provide a whole-person approach to optimized wellness. These specialized Integrative Bodywork sessions offer a unique, interconnected approach to support the body, mind, and nervous system.

Integrative Bodywork may blend techniques from modalities such as, but not limited to, massage therapy, personal training, Postural Restoration, somatic movement, breathwork, and assisted stretching. Every session is thoughtfully and individually tailored based on the client’s short-term and long-term needs.

WHAT CAN INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK HELP WITH?

This therapeutic service is particularly helpful for people looking for rehabilitation from injury and illness, and injury prevention. It can aid with mobility, stability, strength, and pain management, in addition to:

» Congenital conditions
» Chronic pain such as muscular and joint pain
» Chronic conditions
» Pre- and post-surgery care
» Postural or movement issues

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION

Your initial session will include an assessment and discussion to determine your unique needs. Though massage therapy techniques may be used, sessions are clothed and typically take place in public spaces within our gym. You can expect light movement, so we recommend wearing clothes that you can comfortably move in. Your specialist will also focus on education and take-home practices to provide support outside of your sessions together.
