Programs Manager

Castle Hill Fitness is searching for managers to oversee all of our Group Classes & Programs!

Castle Hill Fitness is an integrated health and wellness facility with two locations: 12th & Lamar and 360 & Westlake Dr. We offer it all: Personal Training, Fitness, Spin, Pilates, and Yoga classes, Nutrition services AND a full-service wellness spa.

About This Job

The Programs Manager oversees Castle’s team of 40+ group class instructors, develops special class series and workshops with the Training, Pilates and Yoga staff, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Programs department.

The person in this position works closely with the Director of Services and Director of Marketing to meet revenue targets, maintain high client satisfaction and attendance rates, and support the Class Instructors in meeting their individual goals.

We are searching for two part-time Managers – one for CHF Downtown and one for CHF 360.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, organize, schedule and oversee all group programs throughout the year, including: bi-annual weekly class schedule, monthly member clinics, special guest presenter events, one day workshops, and multi-week class series.
  • Develop and research topics, pricing, compensation and content to help create balanced offerings that are on or ahead of market trends.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of Castle’s offerings through regular surveying, first-hand experience, and client/staff feedback
  • Source, hire and train exceptional Fitness, Pilates and Yoga group class instructors
  • Manage personnel activities of staff (coach, motivate, reward, etc)
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to resolve studio, equipment, and props issues as they arise

About You

  • Considerable knowledge of Fitness, Pilates, and Yoga styles, methods, class formats, and industry trends
  • 5+ years of fitness and/or Yoga class program design or similar event coordination experience
  • Class instructor experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Above average writing and communication skills in voice, email, and text
  • Able to coach, motivate, resolve problems and maintain effective relationships
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Outlook, Work, and Excel
  • CPR/AED Certification


  • College degree
  • Mindbody Online and Constant Contact experience
  • Management experience in the fitness/Yoga industry

We are currently hiring both Full-time and Part-time positions at our Downtown location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promptly greeting, checking in, checking out, and responding to client inquiries
  • Assisting clients enroll in classes, workshops, and series
  • Scheduling spa appointments, tours, orientations and Bod Pods
  • Process client payments and professionally communicate with clients regarding billing preferences and balances
  • Light housekeeping duties


  • Customer service experience in retail, front desk, or similar environment
  • High School Diploma; some college preferred
  • Knowledge of personal computer and office equipment use, including Microsoft Word and Outlook, scanners, and multi-line phone system
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and staff by learning their names, preferences, and needs
  • Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve client, computer, and minor equipment issues
  • CPR/AED Certification is required within 60 days of hire


  • College degree
  • Experience with Mindbody Online or other booking/client management tools
  • Previous experience in a fitness facility environment
  • Sales experience
