Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling ground fighting. The concept of Jiu-Jitsu promotes that a smaller, weaker person can overcome a larger, stronger opponent through leverage and taking the person to the ground. It is often taught in a self-defense context.
Kajukenbo is a blend of five martial art forms: Karate, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo, and Boxing. The art began in Hawaii in 1947.
Our Castle Hill Fitness Self Defense instructors give you an opportunity to learn the skills to help defend yourself against an assault. We offer private self-defense lessons, small group self-defense lessons, and public workshops on self-defense for all genders. In a self-defense lesson you can expect partner work and close personal contact to simulate real-life situations, but all participants are responsible and supported in setting their own limits and level of comfort.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that has an emphasis on kicks, jumping, and spinning. Developed in the 1950s the sport is competitive all over the world.
Often referred to as meditation in motion, the practice of Tai Chi Chuan balances the “great polarity” otherwise known as yin & yang. These opposing forces are in constant flux in nature as well as our bodies, and Tai Chi Chuan teaches us how to live in harmony with these forces. The benefits of a consistent practice are vast, but students will improve balance, increase flexibility, tone muscles, and boost immunity. Tai Chi has been proven to sharpen focus, reduce stress, improve coordination, store up energy, and reduce the risk of falls. Tai Chi is a form of movement that is wonderful for all ages, levels, and abilities.

After years of neglecting his own health in the corporate world, Jeff took a leap , joined a gym and began working one-on-one with a personal trainer. After this experience noticeably improved his health, Jeff felt he could assist others in making fitness a priority in their lives, too. He decided to change careers to Personal Training in order to spread the important message: “health is wealth.” In addition to training, Jeff has been a student of Yang style Tai Chi under Fong Ha since 2006 and practices and teaches the following Qigong forms – yi jin jing, ba duan jin, tai chi ruler, yi quan and shan zhuang. He blends traditional exercise with these Tai Chi and Qigong modalities to customize workouts that incorporate balance, healthy breathing and meditation to improve functional fitness levels and train the whole person.

With over ten years of boxing experience and as a certified boxing coach, Caleb is going to challenge your limits with a knockout of a workout! In his sessions, you will gain all the benefits, both physical and mental, that come from the art of boxing - the “sweet science” as the pros call it.
As a lifelong fan of the sport of boxing, Caleb Noah appreciates the sense of pride one can get from being inside the ring. Caleb began boxing as teen to cut weight and manage stress and he's excited to show you how working out doesn't have to be a chore.
