Jay is a native Austinite, and has lived here all his life. He has always been active and passionate about sports, having played baseball for 9 years throughout school. Jay attended Austin Community College, where he graduated with his Associate's in Health & Exercise Science and is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer.

Jay prioritizes functionality and tailors workouts that are based on movements of everyday life. As an avid runner, he loves incorporating cardio elements into his workouts!  In training variability, he places top focus on form, technique, and building self-confidence.

In his free time, Jay enjoys the outdoors, running or doing anything cardio-intensive, especially with his three dogs - Chief, Ace, and Tiger Lily.
