Vicky is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher who has been studying since 2000. Her practice and teaching center on Mr. Iyengar's insight that the physical practice - the asana - is much more than the physical. He wrote, "Even in simple asanas, one is experiencing the three levels of the quest: the external quest, which brings firmness of the body; the internal quest, which brings steadiness of intelligence; and the innermost quest, which brings benevolence of the spirit."

In her off-the-mat life, she has a Ph.D. in American Studies, taught at the university level for two decades, and has two delightful adult children.

A no-flow yoga practice that balances strength and flexibility. In this method, focus is on alignment and sequencing with the use of props and precise instruction. Expect to work with beginner to intermediate level poses or methods, working for depth, duration, and transformation through asana. Low Impact Sign-up opens 6 days in advance, and cancel up to 4 hours before class start time.
