Devon Dederich, BA Anthropology, MA Geography, RPCV, Intermediate Iyengar Yoga teacher, has studied with most senior Iyengar teachers in the US, and has studied in Pune under BKS Iyengar, his daughter Geeta and son Prashant.  She has taught Iyengar Yoga for forty years, and brings the practical experience of posture and the subtle experience of philosophy into her work.  She can (almost) always find a way to help students approach a pose safely and with benefit.

A no-flow yoga practice that balances strength and flexibility. In this method, focus is on alignment and sequencing with the use of props and precise instruction. Expect to work with beginner to intermediate level poses or methods, working for depth, duration, and transformation through asana. Members can sign-up 6 days in advance and cancel up to 4 hours before class start time.

An intermediate/advanced level Iyengar class. We ask for basic strength and flexibility in Iyengar poses (or the experience to know how to adjust for your limitations). This class is meant to make more challenging the poses you think of as easy, and to then make easier the poses you think of as challenging.   Sign-up 6 days in advance and cancel up to 4 hours before class start time.
