For native Austinite Beth, working in the health and fitness industry was following the family tradition- her father was an aerobics instructor in the 90's! Beth wanted to work in a job where people are happy to see you - so now Beth is a certified Yoga Therapist and PranaShakti Dance Teacher, a certified Massage Therapist since 2002, and a 500-RYT for both Hana and Kundalini Yoga.
Beth specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Preconception & Prenatal Massage, and Reiki. In a session with Beth, clients can expect an integrative massage experience. Beth focuses on regulating the nervous system through breath and imagery, while supporting the body to release deeply held stress and tension through manual bodywork.
Beth's interests in fitness lie in dancing, lifting, swimming, cycling, and yoga. She is passionate about exploring the mind/body connection, yoga philosophy and mythology, trauma-informed care, and Ayurveda. She embodies these studies in her creative and playful class at CHF - come and experience it in class to discover the magic for yourself!
In her spare time, Beth can be found reading, hiking, at karaoke (3x competitive champion!), tending to her plant collecting, or feeding the squirrels and birds in her neighborhood to level up her Disney Princess status.
