Sean Riley

Never did Sean imagine he'd become a personal trainer. Growing up, he hated playing sports and would consistently be picked last when choosing teams in gym class. His attitude changed when he discovered yoga. In 2016, he became a certified yoga instructor, and learned how good the practice made him feel - both physically and mentally. He went on to train in weightlifting, mobility, kettlebells, and functional movement, spending four years learning Brazilian Jiu Jiutsu, all while attending massage therapy school.
Sean's goal as a trainer is to help people feel better in their body and mind by meeting them exactly where they are. Exercise should be approachable, fun, and accessible. Drawing from your goals and likes, Sean can create a program that you look forward to. Sean believes that movement is medicine, and with a little practice, might just become the best part of your day.
Sean's approach to bodywork includes deep tissue therapy, sports massage, and assisted stretching. Sean doesn't believe in quick fixes, but that real change comes through a consistent and multi-faceted approach. He considers it his job to communicate with the human nervous system, via touch, in order to create positive change in soft tissue. Depending on the client's needs, a session can incorporate all three, or just one or two modalities. Through bodywork and movement, Sean will help to reduce pain and increase quality of life in many ways!
