Anne Schultz is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor. She has practiced yoga since 1994 and has taught yoga since 1997. She currently studies locally with Devon Dederich in Austin. Anne-Marie regularly attends workshops and teacher training sessions with senior instructors in the Iyengar tradition. She studies most closely with Eddy Marks, Mary Obendorfer, Laurie Blakeney and George Purvis. She recently spent a month studying at the Iyengar Institute in Pune, India. Anne is also a professor of Philosophy at Baylor University in Waco.

VIRTUAL! Alignment/Iyengar Yoga - Level 2-3 using zoom.us. We recommend having two blocks, two straps, 3-4 blankets needed for shoulderstand, mat, bolster, yoga chair, but not required. A no-flow yoga practice that balances strength and flexibility. In this method, focus is on alignment and sequencing with the use of props and precise instruction.

Expect to work with intermediate level poses or methods, working for depth, duration, and transformation through asana. 

For the best experience make sure you have:
  • strong internet connection with computer video
  • mute yourself when joining the class
  • set to speaker view, not gallery view
  • mat, towel, and water bottle nearby
