Keith Kohanek

After college, Keith was working a high-demand sales job, running on caffeine and stress, pushing his nervous system to the max and causing his physical and mental health to suffer. Knowing it was time for a change, he signed up for a group fitness class and committed to holistically recalibrating his life to better support his overall health, wellness, and happiness. Experiencing firsthand the power of movement and community, he pivoted his professional life to align with his newfound passion: helping others transform their health and their lives for the better.
After a decade of coaching and personal training, Keith has yet to discover the easy button for transformation, but he does know what it takes to deliver results. His clients are some of the busiest people in Austin who value efficiency in most things—their workouts included! With Keith, you can expect to work with a professional, prepared, and punctual trainer who genuinely cares about you, your goals, and your "why" for being in the gym. You'll work together to develop a workout, recovery, and lifestyle strategy that targets your specific needs and goals to get you closer to the best version of yourself. There may be a burpee or two along the way; there will most definitely be squats.
Keith grew up in a small town outside of Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck 'Em!), before moving to Austin in 2013. When he's not coaching clients or programming workouts and classes, he loves to hike, play tennis, watch movies, or simply enjoy time with his wonderful partner and their corgi, Piper.
