The Spring Equinox is a time to reflect on new beginnings and tend to the seeds we’ve planted in the winter (a great time to revisit your New Year’s intentions and shine a light on what’s working or not!)

Join Collette for a special Restorative Yoga class focused on renewal and integration. Class will begin with a brief introduction to the Pancha Koshas (layers of being) and guided breathwork. Next, you’ll move into long-held, therapeutic restorative postures supported by props with an accompanying guided meditation through the Koshas.

Chakra Dance Yoga (CDY) is a movement experience with a live DJ that brings together community connection, journaling practices, oracle and tarot cards, all-level yoga poses, chakra healing techniques, and somatic movement practices to help you feel more aligned, balanced, and free. Each CDY session is infused with Reiki (healing energy) and accompanied by a live DJ set curated by Nite Drive.

Empower yourself by learning skills to help defend against an assault. Kajukenbo is a combination of five different martial arts. It is the blending of the "most lethal" aspects of karate, judo, jiu jitsu, Chinese kenpo, and kung fu.

You can expect partner work and close personal contact to simulate real-life situations. All participants are responsible and supported in setting their own limits and level of comfort. The confidence you will gain from this course alone is worth the price of admission.

This is a women's-only workshop. Girls should be at least 10 years old and mature enough to handle adult subject matter.

Chelsea Moore - Founder, Instructor  Chelsea has been rowing since 2005 and coaching since 2009. She has rowed on the University of Oklahoma's inaugural varsity team, was a two-time Collegiate Rowing Choaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athlete, and CRCA All-Region. Her training and coaching experiences inspired her to start Rō Fitness in 2014! Cara Rizzo - Instructor Cara loves the balance of strength, cardio, and technical skill rowing requires! She played a wide variety of sports growing up across the US, notably as a state-qualified swimmer and competitive equestrian. A confident leader, she's excited to break down the complexities of rowing to newbies and vets alike and help them achieve their recreational, competitive, or fitness goals. 

Connor Dent - Instructor  Connor is trained as a licensed massage therapist, and brings his understanding of the human body and its functionality to his classes. He began his journey on the rowing machine in 2007, and was a competitive rower for McLean High School and a gold medalist at the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints. 

Laura Griffith - Instructor  Laura started rowing in 2001 throughout high school, and continued to row on the varsity team with Eastern Michigan University. Throughout college, she taught the men's high school rowing program for the Wyandotte Boat Club, as well as her old high school team. Her favorite thing about rowing is being a part of an amazing crew of people who come together to work hard to accomplish the same goal.
