A SPECIAL RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS FOR THE SPRING EQUINOX

The Spring Equinox is a time to reflect on new beginnings and tend to the seeds we’ve planted in the winter (a great time to revisit your New Year’s intentions and shine a light on what’s working or not!)

Join Collette for a special Restorative Yoga class focused on renewal and integration. Class will begin with a brief introduction to the Pancha Koshas (layers of being) and guided breathwork. Next, you’ll move into long-held, therapeutic restorative postures supported by props with an accompanying guided meditation through the Koshas.

You’ll leave feeling renewed and refreshed, ready to blossom open with “spring” in your step!

A PLAYFUL AND EMBODIED MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

Chakra Dance Yoga (CDY) is a movement experience with a live DJ that brings together community connection, journaling practices, oracle and tarot cards, all-level yoga poses, chakra healing techniques, and somatic movement practices to help you feel more aligned, balanced, and free. Each CDY session is infused with Reiki (healing energy) and accompanied by a live DJ set curated by Nite Drive.

Chakra Dance Yoga is open to all humans, no matter your experience in yoga, dance, or the chakras. Golebahar’s intention for every class is for students to learn a little more about how to free themselves, love themselves, and be themselves through the healing powers of movement, music, the chakras & community.

Join us on the Castle Hill Fitness rooftop to observe this historic celestial event. We're celebrating this special occasion with yoga, live music, and treats! Our event will begin just before the eclipse starts and will culminate in a viewing party to watch the totality. Solar eclipse glasses will be provided!

A TRADITIONAL PRACTICE IN A MODERN AGE

This program invites you to delve deep into your yoga practice while paying respect to your busy modern life with alternate pricing packages. Watch as your practice grows in a safe, supported small group. 

Mysore style engages students in a self-paced, individualized practice in a group setting. This class format allows for each student to move at their own pace and to receive adjustments from the teacher. Beginners will be systematically taught the Ashtanga Yoga method according to the level of comfort and safety of each student. 
No prior yoga experience necessary - all levels are welcome!

We recommend that beginners commit to practicing with consistency, about 3 classes a week, so that the teacher can monitor progress and continue to refine and add poses. The key to enjoying the practice is to learn gradually and steadily so that we can learn to quiet the mind by connecting with the breath.

MEET JUAN
Juan holds a degree in Athletic Training from UT Austin, is certified by the Board of Certification, and licensed to practice in the state of Texas since 2016. He has been teaching yoga for 20+ years, completed massage training at the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage, is an ACE certified personal trainer, and is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method.
Juan provides eastern and western perspectives on yoga, health, wellness, athletic performance, therapeutics, and rehabilitation.
