Get started, learn more, and go deep with our Pilates special events! Our Pilates event calendar features one-day workshops and multi-week series that will take your Pilates practice to the next level. Workshops can focus on a particular Principle of Pilates, or dive deep into movements on the Pilates reformer, tower, chair, or mat. You do not need to be a member of Castle Hill Fitness in order to attend our Pilates workshops or series, however, we recommend registering in advance.

Freeing the Fascia

with Celeste Knickerbocker  Saturdays at Noon

FIND FREEDOM FROM PAIN & IMPROVE YOUR PERFORMANCE

Fascia is a large organ of fibrous tissue that covers the entire body. Utilizing the Pilates machines, stretches, and self-massage techniques, Celeste will teach you a routine that will help you discover and work toward releasing the stuck spots in your body's fascia. When the fascia is released it allows the body to feel more awake and enlivened, leading to improved performance in all your fitness endeavors!

Meet Celeste
As a life-long mover, and long-time bodyworker, Celeste understands the impact a healthy fascia can have on the whole body. She is thrilled to bring her knowledge and skills in a unique workshop dedicated to giving back to the body you work so hard! Come give your body the TLC it deserves!

Classical Pilates Series

with Celeste Knickerbocker  Mondayss at 5:30pm

Build a solid foundation in CLASSICAL Pilates. 
The specific Classical choreography strengthens and stretches the torso, arms and legs in all planes of movement. Each session will warm up the body, then challenge it on the mat and reformer, and finally cool it down. You will leave this series feeling confident on the equipment and confident in your body. Great for All Levels or Beginners.

Meet Celeste
Celeste discovered Pilates at an early age while studying dance in LA. She has a life-long passion for movement and has transferred that love to helping others move well. Celeste is comprehensively certified in Pilates, GYROTONIC®, and TRX. She has helped clients of all ages and abilities to move better since 2011.

Master Your Practice

with Melissa Lipko  Wednesdays at 9am

Master Your Practice with Melissa Lipko! Intermediate Pilates students, this small group series is for you. With personalized attention, Melissa's small group series focuses on the technique, timing, and execution for a specific circuit routine for the entire series. Experience the Pilates repertoire on the reformer, tower, chair, and more!

Meet Melissa
Melissa Lipko has had a passion for movement since a young age. Earning her BFA in Dance from Cornish University, she has been a certified Elite level Pilates instructor for the last 14 years. Most recently she has pursued a Muscle Activation Techniques certification.

Historical Pilates, The Man, The Method Workshop & Happy Hour

WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE HISTORY OF PILATES?
What was Joseph Pilates teaching when he crafted the art of Pilates over a century ago? Come to this one-day workshop and experience a classical Pilates class with movement pulled from the vault! Pilates instructor, Julie Williams will adapt the class for all levels. Stay for refreshments and a special viewing of historical documents and footage with Joseph Pilates.

No experience necessary to attend - just a curiosity for Pilates!

meet Julie
Julie Williams has a background in dance with more than 20 years of body movement experience. Julie is comprehensively certified in Pilates Methodology and has completed numerous anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology courses. You can find her teaching barre and Pilates on Wednesdays and we are excited to have her add an additional day in the studio!
