Join us this Fall for free workouts at Waterloo Greenway. The Weekly Workouts at Waterloo Fall Series presented by Castle Hill Fitness features three movement sessions a week: Mondays 6:30pm, Wednesdays 6:30pm, and Sundays 10am. Sessions are held at the Moody Amphitheater lawn and are free to the community. Bring your friends and a mat!

Yoga + Sound Mondays 6:30-7:30pm Set some feel-good vibes for the week with mindful movement accompanied by sound therapy. Each week features a different style of yoga and live music.  Workout Wednesday  Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm Keep crushing your hump day with an energetic fitness-based workout. Each class mixes cardio and strength moves to get you sweaty and feeling accomplished!  Sunday Moves Sundays 10-11am Everyone loves Sunday Funday! Join us for an eclectic mix of movement - from dance to recess-type games, Sunday Moves is all about having fun – great for families. There will be a different type of class each week.

SEPTEMBER 20 + 21 - OUT YOUTH

All proceeds will go towards OUT Youth. This organization promotes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of sexual and gender minority youth so they can openly and safely explore and affirm their identities. Using value-based programming, OUT Youth creates programming and provides services for Austin-area youth as well as educational services for parents, educators, and caregivers.

LEARN VALUABLE, LIFE-SAVING SKILLS

Empower yourself by learning skills to help defend against an assault. Kajukenbo is a combination of five different martial arts. It is the blending of the "most lethal" aspects of karate, judo, jiu jitsu, Chinese kenpo, and kung fu.

In this one-day workshop participants will learn the first kajukenbo and kung fu self-defense techniques. Though heart rates will be raised and muscles will be sore, this is not a gym workout. Students are in the class to learn actual self-defense techniques that could help one day save their life.

The confidence you will gain from this course alone is worth the price of admission. You can expect partner work and close personal contact to simulate real-life situations, and because of this masks are required. All participants are responsible and supported in setting their own limits and comfort level. 

Daughters should be at least 10 years old and be mature enough to handle adult subject matter or verbiage. Recommended attire: workout clothes.
