Castle Hill Fitness offers a multitude of formats in which to improve your health and fitness. In our small group, multi-week class series, you will receive focused attention and experience progressive learning objectives. Our one-day workshops provide an opportunity to dive deep into a particular topic or training type. We also offer in-depth teacher trainings and instructor intensives for those that want to take their passion into a profession. Two-Week In-Person Class Event!

REAL TALK: We've been missing in-person group classes just like you. Since we're reopened, we have been working hard to create a responsible way to bring back classes. We want to share that journey with you! Join our instructors on the rooftop parking lot of our Downtown location in an invite-only event as we navigate the future of in-person group fitness. 
Get ready to sweat, receive personal modifications from your instructor, and SEE your workout mates working next to you ("next to you", as in, 6 feet away). 
Each class is limited to just 9, but we will have a waitlist! If someone cancels, you will be automatically moved from the waitlist. In an effort to get everyone into a class that wants to, we reserve the right to move around reservations with advanced notice.
Booking for classes is now open! You can cancel up to 30-minutes in advance. We highly advise you to cancel if you know you won't make it so that we can give your spot to another gym friend.
» Bring your own mat, towel, and water bottle. 
» Your workout spaces will be ~15 feet apart. Please do not park on the roof.
» Instructors will be masked unless in a stationary position that exceeds the distance of 6 feet away.
» If this is your first time back to the gym, please read and sign our Protect the Castle agreement.
» When you arrive - check in at the front desk for a contactless temperature reading.
» A mask is required until you reach your designated workout space. A mask is not required while working out in your space, but must be worn anytime you are moving outside of it. 
» Class will be canceled in the event of rain - but we have Workout Pods available!

Virtual Keeping It Moving: Strength and Mobility for Life

Your pelvis and legs are designed to help you stand upright, support more than your own weight, and move freely around the world. Building flexibility and strength in the legs and pelvis also helps to maintain good health and function of the spine and abdominal organs.

In this virtual workshop, explore these concepts further by a) learning asana focusing on the legs and hips, and b) observing the effects on the spine, pelvis, and abdominal organs.

Recommended props include:

- chair - strap or belt - 2 yoga blocks - bolster and/or 3 blankets/towels - sticky mat (2 preferred, but not required)

For experienced beginners and intermediate students. Appropriate for levels 1-3.

About Devon Devon Dederich, BA Anthropology, MA Geography, RPCV, Intermediate Iyengar Yoga teacher, has studied with most senior Iyengar teachers in the US, and has studied in Pune under BKS Iyengar, his daughter Geeta and son Prashant. She has taught Iyengar Yoga for forty years and brings the practical experience of posture and the subtle experience of philosophy into her work. She can (almost) always find a way to help students approach a pose safely and with benefit.

What are Wellness Buzz Sessions?

The Castle Hill Fitness mission recognizes that a fit and healthy lifestyle is more than just breaking a sweat. Sit in on one of our sessions to address the other areas of optimal health. We're talking about stress, sleep, aging, nutrition, recovery, and more. Each session, a Castle Hill Fitness team member will host some real talk about a health-related topic - bring your questions, frustrations, and experiences, and gain insights and inspiration that will keep you on track and motivated - during quarantine and beyond!
