Join Anna for a continuation of her yoga workshop series exploring the fascial networks of the body. In these two workshops you will learn about the Anatomy Trains Arm Lines and their role in neck and shoulder pain.

The first workshop will focus on creating mobility and fluidity in areas of the chest and arms that are frequently tight due to postural patterns and habitual movements of the arms.

The second workshop will be centered around creating strength in the shoulder in order to stabilize this often compromised joint.

You can expect to gain a deeper understanding of your personal fascial map and learn ways to work with the imbalances of your upper body. Due to the complexities of these fascial lines this workshop is not advised for people with acute shoulder or arm injuries.

"PachaMama" means Earth Mother in the native tongue of the Andes. PachaMama Yoga is a circle of mothers who practice yoga together.

Yoga for the sacred time of budding motherhood. Expectant moms, new moms and babies under 9 months all welcome. This class creates the space for each woman to move at her own pace, honoring the experiences of each trimester including the fourth trimester of mama-baby bonding. Class is all-levels and will include props for adjustments and modifications, restorative poses for release, longer holds for deep surrender, and gentle vinyasa slow flow.

Ever struggle with a pose in class and wish for more time to explore it? Asana Lab gives you 5 weeks to go deep into the subtleties of groups of postures such as standing poses, hip openers, arm balances (like handstands!), backbends and inversions.

This 5 week series moves your attention to the "junk drawer" of the body. It is common to put all the things we don't know what to do with into our hips, both emotionally and physically. In this round of the asana lab series, you'll delve into hip openers like pigeon pose, bound angle pose, hero pose and more to help you discover transformation and freedom. Hip openers relieve lower back tension and increase health in the pelvis and lower spine.

Meet your teacher: Kim Schaefer
Kim is an Anusara Inspired™ yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist with extensive training in anatomy and physiology. Kim came to yoga as a burned-out triathlete who could barely touch her toes.
