Pilates 101

This six week Beginner Series focuses on developing a strong foundation of the Pilates Method. Each small group session will build on the previous week allowing students to become comfortable with basic movements and transitions on the equipment. The Pilates Cadillac/tower, Chair and Reformers will be explored through their many set up and uses. In addition to clear instruction, students will receive a weekly review email with several exercises to try and home. This series is perfect for the raw beginner and for those who are interested in revisiting Pilates Method basics. There is no Pilates experience necessary and the series is suitable for those who have minor injuries. Following the series students will have a comfortable understanding of the equipment, exercises, and breath and will be ready to transition to All Level or Beginner weekly classes.

Limit is just 6! This is a small group series and no Pilates experience necessary.

Meet Your Instructor, Sara Garonzik

Sara is a certified Pilates Instructor that understands the challenges weak or tight psoas can impart on the rest of your body. Sara is passionate about sharing her knowledge in all disciplines of fitness, but in 2014 she took her 15 year Pilates practice to the next level and became certified under Melinda Bryan at the Pilates Studio of Los Angeles.

In her classes you can expect to gain a deeper knowledge of your body as she walks the line between challenge and form with humor sprinkled into the conversation. The only per-requisite is an open mind and a readiness to move better throughout your daily life!
