Browse the upcoming events below to begin studying in-depth with your favorite teachers. You do not need to be a member of Castle Hill Fitness in order to attend. Advance registration is always recommended to secure your spot in an upcoming program.

AUSTIN SCHOOL OF YOGA - 200-HOUR TEACHER TRAINING IS HERE!
Join Ashley Cheng and Tracey Silverman for a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training designed with the cornerstones of self-care, awareness, curiosity, and compassion to discover your own voice, whether or not you plan to teach. We meet 9 weekends, once a month for an exquisite combination of yoga, personal development processes, embodied anatomy, and empowering teaching methods.  


Training Dates:
Weekend 1: April 27-28
Weekend 2: May 25-26
Weekend 3: June 29-30
Weekend 4: July 20-21
Weekend 5: August 24-25
Weekend 6: September 14-15
Weekend 7: October 19-20
Weekend 8: November 2-3
Weekend 9: December 7-8

Meet one weekend a month. Saturdays and Sundays, 9am-7pm.

Pricing:
Save $300 when you sign up before April 1, 2019. 
Non-refundable deposit = $500
Total training cost = $3,500 payment plan option or $3,200 paid in full. 
Payment plan is no more than 8 payments of $375 and must be paid off by the end of the training - December 8, 2019

Prepared Partners Workshop

with Jill Birt  Sunday at 12pm

Prepared Partners is a one day Labor Preparation Course for you and your partner rooted in the wisdom and teachings of yoga, intertwined with the knowledge and experience Jill holds as a labor and delivery nurse.
 

During your time with Jill, you and your partner can expect to learn:

• Yoga positions to support each of your needs and well-being through labor and the transition into parenthood, as well as, partner supported positions for labor
• The process and stages of labor from both a scientific and energetic viewpoint.
• The science behind how breathing techniques support the central nervous system and specific techniques to support both labor and parenthood
• “What to do” to best support each stage of labor including natural interventions and support methods
• What if??? Information on possible medical interventions of labor and birth

 

This class includes physical movement and hands-on practice. Please wear comfortable clothing. You will also receive take-home references to utilize in labor so no pressure -- it’s ok if you forget. Leave together feeling PREPARED and ready for the big day!

The PREPARED Childbirth Course was founded by Yogi, Mother and Registered Nurse, Jill Birt. Prior to stepping full time to teaching yoga, Jill worked as a labor and delivery nurse in Austin, TX for 15 years. She believes the mind, body and spirit connection is a vital component to support your whole self through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and motherhood.

Prepare Yourself for the Transition to Motherhood
The curriculum of PREPARED utilizes the Yoga practices of mindfulness, meditation, and movement intertwined with the knowledge and experience Jill holds as a labor and delivery nurse. You will gain a deeper understanding of your body and the process of labor, both scientifically and energetically. The course also includes prenatal yoga to support your body's changing and upcoming needs while being appropriately gentle and safe for you and your baby.
