In this 90 minute workshop, Mandie will take you through the studio and give you the keys to make Pilates a part of your fitness toolbox. Imagine engaging your whole body as you stretch your legs, your spine gets long, and your deep core muscles get the assistance they need to wake up! Get a whole new perspective on what it means to be IN your core. Participants will learn the Reformer and Tower set up, exercise names, and important concepts to the Method like breathing, quality or quantity, and form.
Using the ballet barre as a prop, Mel will help you get a
great toning, lifting and firming workout for the legs,
derriere, and core! Barre Fit is not a ballet class, but a
combination of flowing strengthening exercises using the
barre. Expect some muscle burn and some, "oh! I didn't
know that could get sore!" revelations!
