Program DetailsRestorative Yoga Basics - Saturday, April 27th, 2-6 pm
Learn the art of reclining with props to induce a relaxation response in the nervous system. The science of relaxation, styling poses and sequencing will be reviewed.
Yoga Nidra: Intensive - Sunday, April 28th, 8am-12pm
Practice guided imagery and body scanning meditation practices for healing the mind-body connection. The session will include a review of the latest evidence-based research, and exercises in writing and reciting of meditation scripts.
Yin Yoga: Intensive - Sunday, April 28th, 1-5pm
Experience the practice and learn the research and theory behind the healing benefits of yoga poses for deep stretching of fascia. This session will introduce the Chinese Meridian theory, specifically relating the meridians to organs and the related emotions as well the anatomical myofascial meridian research done by Thomas Myers.
