Summer Greenlees began teaching yoga in 1997, here in Austin, TX. Hatha Yoga Instruction has always been her favorite healing modality as a Wellness Professional. After learning to teach Yoga, she became a Massage Therapist and through continued study of anatomy and certifications in various healing modalities, she has learned much about healing, holistic health & wellness, movement, breathwork, meditation. Every single one of the healing modalities she has studied and become certified in has always pointed directly back to the healing and integrative power of the practice of Hatha Yoga for optimal wellness. It has helped her understand more deeply what an effective and potent resource the ancient tradition of yoga has to offer our modern needs. Summer's Yoga instruction is informed by the 25 years of collective experience of working with many people of various ages, walks of life, and fitness levels as a full-time yoga instructor, massage therapist, and 12 years attending births as a Doula.

Summer loves to support her Yoga students with movement repatterning for healthy breath and movement within Hatha yoga practice. This provides an experience of stability and ease in movement, lessening and eliminating patterns of movement that cause strain, stress, tension, and injury in the body over time, and cultivating a balance of strength, flexibility, and mobility.
