A native Austinite, Mark began his fitness career in 1995 while completing his Master's degree in Exercise Science. Believe it or not, his first work experience was interning with Castle's own Michele Melkerson-Grarynd and Laurie Rourke-Korpi! Since then, he has trained people of all ages, from 8-95. He feels lucky to have "aged" with many of his clients, allowing him to appreciate the unique needs of life's athletes of all ages.
As a group fitness instructor, Mark has been fortunate to travel the world training instructors and presenting videos for MOSSA in Group Fight, Group Power, and 3D30. His enthusiasm for these programs is contagious, and sure to make these challenging hours fly by!

VIRTUAL! Ropes & Reps using zoom.us. In Ropes and Reps, Mark will alternate jump rope rounds with simple strength training rounds to create a unique, full-body challenge!
Equipment: Jump Rope and dumbbells. No rope, no worries, the imaginary rope still works.
For the best experience make sure you have: strong internet connection with computer video mute yourself when joining the class set to speaker view, not gallery view mat, towel, and water bottle nearby Sign-up ends 30-minutes prior to class start time. An email with the class meeting link will be sent 15-minutes before class start time.
EXPERIMENTAL IN PERSON CLASS! A 2-week test drive of in-person classes using the pods. This invite-only event will help our instructors and clients get a feel for the new future of in-person group fitness.

We will send out a survey to you at the end of the class to see how you felt about your experience. If all goes well we plan to bring in-person classes like these back in September (included for all VIP members).
