Asana Lab: Building Inversions

In this 5 week course, you will learn how to prepare for and stay safe while turning yourself upside down. The focus will be using the preparatory forms of handstand, forearm stand, and lots of core strengtheners to build a safe headstand and supported shoulder stand, the king and queen of asana. In addition to building the strength necessary to hold these poses, you will learn alternate poses if you have neck/shoulder injuries or are in need of a gentler practice. Inversions offer a host of benefits when practiced regularly, including improved circulation and increased immunity.
