Yoga Nidra Workshop

Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes increasingly aware of their inner world by following a set of instructions. In this state of consciousness the body remains in a state of light pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) and only the hearing still connects to the instructions. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.

The practice of yoga relaxation has been found to reduce stress, tension and anxiety, and offers true rest to repair the body. In this workshop you will learn to create the conditions for relaxation and rest and follow along with a guided yoga nidra practice by Kori.
