Juan Anguiano
    Juan Anguiano, E-RYT 500, ACE-CPT is dedicated to transmitting the Ashtanga Vinyasa method according to the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Many years of practice and dedication have affirmed his confidence in the wisdom of learning Ashtanga according to abilities and not the demands of the ego. His teaching style illuminates the importance of setting and accepting limits in the practice so that patterns present throughout Ashtanga are understood and connected into an enjoyable harmony of movement and growth. Juan first experienced yoga as a child when he was introduced to some pranayama techniques to help with severe childhood asthma. He began practicing yoga asana in his late teens and explored various styles of yoga with nationally and internationally known prominent yoga teachers. He experienced Ashtanga Yoga around age twenty-one on his travels in California. Juan is a direct student of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamy and brings more than fifteen years of experience teaching yoga and mentoring and training budding yoga teachers. Juan has established successful Mysore-style programs in Dallas and the first successful Mysore-style program in Austin, Texas at Castle Hill Fitness in 2005. Juan became more dedicated to other forms of fitness when he purchased his first Pinarello road bike from the Castle Hill Cycles and began triathlon training with Castle Hill personal trainers. Juan’s dedication to embracing other forms of fitness led him to obtain his personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise in 2010. He is a firm believer in integrating yoga and western styles of fitness. He is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology through the University of Texas at Austin. He is working toward a degree as an Athletic Trainer which will allow him to specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating muscle and bone injuries and illnesses for athletes and the general population. His professional goals are to further synthesize the practice of yoga, sports and general wellness through practice, scientific research, and study.

Ashtanga Mysore Style - Juan NEEDS SEPARATE PROGRAM PASS Mysore style engages students in a self-paced, individualized practice in a group setting. This class format allows for each student to move at their own pace and to receive adjustments from the teacher. Beginners are welcome.     Mandy is a Certified Anusara Yoga and E-RYT 500-hour teacher and Teacher Trainer. Mandy was introduced to yoga in 2003 while still living in her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Within the year, she began teaching yoga. In 2005, she moved to Austin and was introduced to Anusara Yoga. Her heart was touched by the method, practice and the community, and since then she has been a dedicated student of Anusara Yoga. Her dedication to yoga practice has extended beyond Anusara studies to include philosophical studies as well as various methods of yoga asana.

    Mandy's teaching style is playful and nurturing, as well as methodical and precise. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment in which students can learn and experience the joy of yoga. Her service as a yoga teacher allows her to explore new and exciting ways to express her admiration for the practice of Hatha Yoga.

Anna Gieselman
    Anna was first introduced to yoga while attending art school in Santa Fe NM in 2000. She began her yoga studies in 2004 and continues to enjoy learning new aspects of yoga therapy and wisdom training. She received her 200 hour certification through Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe NM. Anna is a committed student of Tias Little with whom she studies therapeutic yoga with a focus on anatomy and physiology, yogic wisdom and Zen meditation. She has also studied yoga for women’s health with Surya Little and Linda Spackman and is certified in pre and post natal yoga. In addition to teaching yoga she is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Texas. Her education in anatomy and myofascial release, most specifically Anatomy Trains with Tom Meyers, have greatly impacted her knowledge and practice as a yoga teacher. With a focus on proper alignment and the use of props Anna hopes to guide students towards a more open and peaceful place in their bodies and mind. Her classes are inspired by her daily journey through the rhythms of life and living in the human body. A typical class will include meditation, pranayama (breath work), and therapeutic asanas (postures) with the goal of becoming more mindful, grounded and aware of the inner workings of the body.

    Tracey is a Certified Forrest Yoga teacher and completed her 200 hr RYT with Ana Forrest in 2011. She brings positive, inspiring energy to every class and uses a caring, compassionate touch through hands-on assists to maximize your experience of each pose. Her classes are fun and playful, but challenge you to explore the physical and emotional landscape of your body. Tracey has been practicing yoga for 15 years and continues her studies by assisting Ana Forrest. She completed a year-long mentorship with Forrest Yoga Guardians Catherine Allen and Ann Hyde in 2012. It is through the practice of Forrest Yoga that Tracey is healing her body from the toll of twin pregnancy and college gymnastics - and finds her spirit, voice, and the courage to live her truth.

    Kori has been practicing and incorporating Yoga in her life for over a decade. In that time she has developed skills from some of the best instructors Austin has to offer. Through her journey she has studied various practice styles including: Bikram, Baptiste Power yoga, Vinyasaa Flow, Yin, and Restorative. In 2012 she completed her 200 hr RYT with Gioconda Parker, ERYT-500. Since then Kori has gone on to receive her certification as a Relax and Renew trainer with author and world renowned teacher, Judith Hanson Lasater, and greatly enjoys teaching Restorative yoga. Additionally, she received her certification through Warriors at Ease to teach meditation and yoga to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and trauma (including emotional and physical- loss of limbs). She is excited to have the opportunity to volunteer at the Austin Vet Center, teaching yoga to combat veterans in an ongoing yoga class, and also works regularly with widows and widowers of fallen soldiers through the American Widow Project. After experiencing three 14 month deployments in her own family, she understands the need for community and having a safe place to explore and connect with one’s inner self. It is her intention as a yoga teacher to offer tools that help students connect to their own inner resource, enhance personal resilience, and empower them to regulate their body, mind, and spirit through awareness and self-care. Kori shares her life with her husband, a retired Army National Guard veteran, and their two beautiful children. She is also a bench jeweler and represents her passion for adornment through her company I-Rok Gems.
