Practice alongside fellow early birds in our morning self practice. The Chakras studio opens for 2 hours in the morning for quiet self practice. No instructor is present. Members have free access and can arrive at any time, but be mindful of others practicing. For non-member access purchase a day use pass.

 Kimberly Wharton | Kimberly Wharton is a certified yoga instructor who hails from Los Angeles where she was teaching for Yoga Works, Team Survivor and various studios and businesses. Kimberly was recently named in Backstage Magazine's 'Best of L.A.' under favorite yoga class. Kimberly has studied with Alan Finger (ISHTA lineage), Kia Miller (Yoga Works techniques), Jasmine Lieb (Therapeutics), and Jillian Pransky (Restoratives). She continues to deepen her practice daily, as well as share her passion with her students. Whether the goal is to heal, relax, lose weight, or find focus, Kimberly assists her students on their journey to feel better, function better and find their truth. |

 Brigitte Edery | Brigitte's been a devoted student of yoga since 1987 and has been registered as a certified yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance since 2003.She began practicing yoga after years of chronic back pain and a severe accident that left her blind in one eye.
Her first experience (of yoga) was with Swami Satchidananda's Integral Yoga in NYC.
After moving to Austin in 1989, she discovered the healing benefits of Iyengar Yoga, a system of Hatha known for its precision and structural alignment. Most recently, her love of yoga has led her to John Friend's Anusara® Yoga which integrates universal principles of alignment with a life affirming, heart expanding tantric philosophy that rocks! She has attained 'Anusara Inspired' status through her extensive study and practice of this transformative style.
When she's not on the mat practicing or teaching, Brigitte loves to paint, travel, dance (especially West African), read and relax with family and friends. |

A variety of specific therapeutic sequences and healing relaxation techniques will be used to deeply work your body and energy while guiding you to proper alignment and strength. Sequences may focus on specific injury healing and prevention, relieving physical stress and toxicity in the organs, glands, and muscles. Ashtanga Yoga Led Primary Series
 Sharon Moon (Website) | Sharon has been a student of yoga since 1972. After a 12 year detour into Tae Kwon Do she fell in love with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 1994. She has been teaching it nationally and internationally for 15 years. She first learned Ashtanga from David Swenson and then went on to study directly with Guruji Pattabhi Jois, his son Manju Jois and his grandson Sharath Jois. Over the years she has also been inspired by senior Ashtanga teachers Nancy Gilgoff, Dena Kingsberg, Louise Ellis and Mark Darby.
Sharon feels yoga has given her life structure, depth, meaning, and purpose in ways she never imagined it could. She sees yoga as a tool to take us to the sweet place within our hearts and to bring lightness of being into our lives. She strives to impart these things into her teaching. Anusara-Inspired™
 Kim Schaefer | Kim graduated from Yoga Yoga's 200-hour Hatha Teacher Training program in 2006 and has since been immersed in the heart-centered practice of Anusara Yoga. She has completed a 108-hour Immersion and two Level I and Level II Anusara teacher trainings with certified Anusara teacher Christina Sell. She has studied Yoga Therapeutics with Noah Maze and Desiree Rumbaugh and has taken several workshops with Anusara Yoga founder John Friend. Currently, Kim is an Anusara-Inspired™ teacher and is working toward her Anusara® certification. In addition to her Anusara® training, over the years Kim has been fortunate to study Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, to take workshops with Donna Farhi, Sean Corne, and Jonny Kest, and to study the principles of Ayurvedic medicine with Robert Svoboda and Craig Williams. In her work as a therapeutic bodyworker and heart-centered healer, Kim uses a variety of modalities to encourage clients to connect deeply with their own spiritual essence. Kim is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Pre- and Post-Natal Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. She also has advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute. Kim is inspired by the inner light that radiates from each of her students when they practice yoga and offers a sincere and compassionate approach to all of her clients. Power Yoga
 Dido Nydick (Website) | Dido is an E-500RYT certified yoga teacher. She has been practicing since 1999 and completed her training in ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantric and Ayurveda) in New York City in 2003 under the direction of Alan Finger and staff. She is also certified as a "Relax & Renew" Restorative instructor by Judith Lasater and trained in Pre-natal yoga by Carrie Parker. Dido continues to study with teachers that emphasize the connection between mind, body and spirit. Her classes include poses, breathwork, meditation and philosophy to create a state of well-being.  Bob Flegal (Website) | Robert Flegal has been a resident of Austin, TX since 1991. He has practiced meditation for the past 32 years and has taught for the last 17 years. He has studied several forms of meditation including Buddhist practices, various Christian practice, Vedanta Adviata, and Zen. He retired in 1994 from the Computer Science field where he worked mainly corporate research labs. His formal education is in Mathematics and he continues to still spend time in research related endeavors. Robert was also in the Peace Corps in Ghana (West Africa) teaching mathematics from 1967-1969. |

Meditation
Meditation frees us from the obsession of our "small selves" & reconnects us with who we really are. Consistent practice exposes negative thinking, obsessions, & our separation between each other. Once we recognize these habitual patterns, they cease to control us – freeing our unqualified absolute nature. All practices are welcome. For those with specific questions about meditation practice, there will be a Q & A period at the end of class.
