Restorative Yoga

A gentle, restorative yoga class provides students with an opportunity to learn how to unwind, while relaxing and opening the body. By slowing down the pace of a regular yoga practice and by introducing the use of props, restorative yoga classes relieve fatigue and stress and promote well being. They also help muscles and joints to renew and heal, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and stimulate proper functioning of the immune system. Restorative yoga is ideal for conditions such as insomnia, asthma, chronic pain, migraines, and depression.
