Ashtanga Mysore *separate program pass
Juan Anguiano | Juan Anguiano, E-RYT 500, ACE-CPT is dedicated to transmitting the Ashtanga Vinyasa method according to the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Many years of practice and dedication have affirmed his confidence in the wisdom of learning Ashtanga according to abilities and not the demands of the ego. His teaching style illuminates the importance of setting and accepting limits in the practice so that patterns present throughout Ashtanga are understood and connected into an enjoyable harmony of movement and growth.
Juan first experienced yoga as a child when he was introduced to some pranayama techniques to help with severe childhood asthma. He began practicing yoga asana in his late teens and explored various styles of yoga with nationally and internationally known prominent yoga teachers. He experienced Ashtanga Yoga around age twenty-one on his travels in California. Juan is a direct student of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamy and brings more than fifteen years of experience teaching yoga and mentoring and training budding yoga teachers. Juan has established successful Mysore-style programs in Dallas and the first successful Mysore-style program in Austin, Texas at Castle Hill Fitness in 2005.
Juan became more dedicated to other forms of fitness when he purchased his first Pinarello road bike from the Castle Hill Cycles and began triathlon training with Castle Hill personal trainers. Juan’s dedication to embracing other forms of fitness led him to obtain his personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise in 2010. He is a firm believer in integrating yoga and western styles of fitness. He is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology through the University of Texas at Austin. He is working toward a degree as an Athletic Trainer which will allow him to specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating muscle and bone injuries and illnesses for athletes and the general population. His professional goals are to further synthesize the practice of yoga, sports and general wellness through practice, scientific research, and study.

Ben Heath | As far back as he can remember Ben has been a seeker. It wasn't until he began the practice of yoga several years ago that he realized "this was it", and has dedicated himself completely to the practice. Now he spends the majority of his time traveling, primarily for yoga trainings, and learning various modalities of bodywork.
With a steady drive for knowledge and self discovery, Ben is continually exploring new ways to learn so that he can share more fully the practice of yoga in his classes. Ben is a licensed massage therapist specializing in deep tissue, corrective work. He spends most of his time working on yoga practitioners so that his clients can get the most out of their practice. Ben's belief is that yoga is a path of self discovery and healing, physical health, and ultimately a heightened sense of awareness of the beauty and love that this life has to offer. Ben infuses his deep understanding of anatomy and alignment, his studies in philosophy and meditation into every class, leading to a well rounded, challenging practice. His belief is that when yoga is practiced in its entirety, the natural evolution is awareness of the self and our inherent connection to all beings.

In addition to teaching yoga, she is a licensed massage therapist and enjoys bringing her knowledge of anatomy and physiology to her classes. She aims to offer a challenging yoga class that incorporates zen philosophy, breath work and alignment focused asanas that will leave students feeling more grounded, alive and aware of the inner workings of their bodies.
