Our therapists are registered with the Texas Department of Health and hold current memberships in a professional organization of their choice.

John Steinle

Bio/Qualifications
For over a decade, John has been an advocate of proper nutrition and holistic living. He received his massage training in 1997 from New Creation Massage School here in Austin. He has also studied Myofascial Release and Reflexology. A client of his succinctly described John's style of massage as "gentle yet powerful, addressing deep tissue through finesse instead of force. He is remarkably effective."

Statement/Philosophy: People's bodies and their needs for massage can vary greatly. It is my intent to have open communication with my clients to ensure that we meet their specific goals. One invaluable skill that I strive to apply fully to each person is my ability to listen.

Julie Horvath

Bio/Qualifications
Looking to live fit, stay strong and remain healthy? As a graduate of Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage, Julie Horvath recognizes the fidelity between the mind and body. Her personal experience with marathons, trail running and triathlons lends itself to intuitive body work with exercise motivated and goal oriented individuals. Julie works toward the balance necessary for her clients to remain injury free and those wishing to de-stimulate......... unwind and re-charge.

Michelle Metzler

Bio/Qualifications
Michelle Metzler, NCBTMB is a nationally certified massage therapist and has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association for nine years. She received her training in Wisconsin at Blue Sky Educational Foundation. In addition, she has also earned a certification in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. Michelle specializes in therapy for the relief of pain, increasing range of motion, and performance enhancement. Her extensive knowledge of anatomy, hard work, and energy has given her the opportunity to work with many world class athletes and performers. For the past four years, Michelle had been traveling and working as part of the medical team for Riverdance. Not only has she worked with dancers, singers, and musicians, she has also in the past worked with professional and Olympic athletes. She could not be happier with her decision to move to Austin and looks forward to continuing her passion of helping and caring for others through massage therapy and baking!

 

Susie Breaux

Bio/Qualifications: NCBTMB certified massage therapist, Susie Breaux, received her 700 hours of training from Crystal Mountain School of Therapeutic Massage in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2003 and has been a member of AMTA for 2 years. Susie is certified in Level 1 & 2 Lomi Lomi massage and incorporates many of these techniques into her massages. She is also currently enrolled in her first of the five year program Spacial Dynamics©, a form of movement therapy.

Will Ravenel

Bio/Qualifications: Will Ravenel received his training and certification from the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, CO. An Austin resident since 1973 he is also a licensed 18 year practitioner of massage, Cranio-Sacral therapy, and Myofascial Release therapy.

 

 

Melody Thames

Bio/Qualifications: Melody Thames has been a Nationally Certified therapist since 2000. Melody graduated from the Humanities Center in Florida with academic honors and has studied Thai Massage in Costa Rica. Specialties include myofascial release, deep tissue and sports massage as well as stretching her clients.

Statement/Philosophy: Your body is similar to a machine. It needs the right fuel to function properly. Treat it like a Mercedes! Get a tune-up with massage, if you don't take care of yourself, who will?
