Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a system originally taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India that consists of six series of postures that take the practitioner from a fundamental, yet challenging realm of basic postures into a more complex, physically demanding, and energetic expression of yoga asana. Practitioners are taught individually in a group setting that is empowering, safe, compassionate, and customized to the needs of each student. We offer classes six days-a-week, Sunday through Friday, following the traditional custom of resting on Saturdays and full and new moon daysNo practice on full moon and new moon days according to the Ashtanga tradition.
